About us

We are founded by a team of accountants and software engineers based on the real-life challenges that our clients experience implementing and complying with ASC 606.

Our story

Our founders are experts in ASC 606. More importantly, they are experts on automating complex accounting standards. We came together in 2019 with the simple mission of automating revenue recognition. In addition to this automation, we wanted to empower the accountant with their own application and “source of truth” for detailed revenue calculations. We wanted to rid them of the spreadsheets that causes inefficiencies and errors. With RevLock, you can accomplish this goal.

But REVLOCK goes beyond just ASC 606 or IFRS 15 compliance. This is about “knowing your revenue” and accountants being able to scale for their high-growth businesses. No longer will accountants be playing catch-up in processing revenue. RevLock empowers accountants to comply, to scale, and to provide valuable insights in the revenue of the company.

  • Craig Kirsch, CPA

    CEO / Co-Founder

    • Craig is Co-Founder & CEO of REVLOCK. Craig started his career with Arthur Andersen where he led several practices including the Pittsburgh Office’s Capital Markets practice. Craig has deep experience as a business advisor, investor, entrepreneur and CEO.

  • Umar Syyid

    CPO

    • Umar is responsible for the product strategy, vision and development. He has several decades of experience building products to help optimize the finance function in both large and small companies.

  • Jeff Sant

    CRO

    • Jeff is the Chief Revenue Officer of REVLOCK, responsible for overall growth of the product. He has over 25 years of experience in software sales. In the past 15 years, Jeff has started and successfully grown multiple SaaS companies

  • Irfan Zulfiqar

    CTO

    • Irfan is the Chief Technology Officer of REVLOCK. He has over 20 years of experience in the software industry with a focus on building enterprise systems focused on helping companies modernize their finance functions.

  • Tony Ricciardella, CPA

    ASC/606 Expert

    • Tony is a Co-Founder of RevLock. Tony brings more than 27 years of experience in public accounting as a partner in large international accounting firms.
